Finished just in time for the 2005 Healdsburg Guitar Festival, the Bat Out Of Hell model has a voice that deserves that name.

   The internal structure is a good deal different from the Snake model. The back is ladder braced and allowed to move freely. There are no “mushrooms” coupling the back and top.

   This 17" large jumbo body is made of wenge — a wood that seems to resonate forever. The tap tone is just amazing. The cover plate is laminated from 5 very thin layers of wenge to give it stability and strength.
